CALIMA is a growing tech startup based in Berlin. We are developing a digital emergency system that helps companies provide quick and reliable assistance to employees in critical situations. Our product is used by over 700 companies with more than 6,000 users—and we are continuing to grow.
Your role:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will work with our team to identify and qualify potential customers and lay the foundation for long-term customer relationships through targeted outreach.
Your tasks:
- Identification of potential corporate customers (B2B) and research into effective ways of establishing contact
- Conducting brief, structured qualification interviews to assess needs, timing, resources, and decision-making ability
- Arranging qualified meetings or demonstration appointments for account executives and, if necessary, independent initial presentation of the solution
- Complete and timely documentation of all activities, meeting outcomes, and next steps in the CRM system
- Active participation in the further development of sales approaches, conversation guidelines, and campaigns
- Qualitative feedback to sales and marketing on target group approach and lead quality
What you bring with you:
- Initial experience in sales, inside sales, business development, or lead generation in the B2B SaaS environment
- Experience in identifying, approaching, and qualifying potential customers
- Confident handling of customer communication by telephone and in writing
- Structured, goal-oriented approach to work and enjoyment of actively approaching new customers
- Enjoyment of working with clear goals and KPIs, and of making progress measurable
- Clear and professional communication and smooth handover of qualified leads to sales/account executives
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
